As someone deeply devoted to the art of fly fishing, my life is enriched by more than just this passion. Being a husband, father, and seeker of truth, beauty, and goodness defines me. Fly fishing offers profound lessons on life, highlighting how the pursuit of trout invariably leads us to the most stunning locales our planet offers.
The concept for Journey on the Fly Guide Service crystallized a few years back as I contemplated deepening my knowledge and skills for reasons beyond personal fulfillment. The drive to share the gifts I've received with others was the spark that ignited this venture. Alongside me, you might find my son, eager to contribute however he can, and a team of guides tailored to accommodate your group's size.
Our philosophy sets us apart. In the realm of trout streams, we are all visitors, and I see my role as a bridge between you, our guests, and the stream's natural residents. My humble aim is to encourage everyone to discover and follow their purpose.
Credentials and experience
I take pride in being a Master Watershed Steward and a member of Fly Fishing Team USA.
As a mentor for The Mayfly Project WV chapter, I share my love for fly fishing with the next generation.
My academic background includes a B.S. in Religion, with a minor in Bible from Liberty University.
With 20 years of fishing experience, I've also developed the Micro-Master Class on Fly Fishing to share my knowledge.
Projects in development: A program for casting instruction and guide mentoring, as well as coordinating Cross the Divide PA, showcases my ongoing commitment to the fly fishing community.
